On Wednesday 10th January, we hosted our first ever Bishop Hogarth Pupil Parliament event! The Pupil Parliament includes students from all our 35 schools. The aims of the Pupil Parliament are to represent, unite and make a difference.
The day started with an introduction from Mrs Hubbard-Young and our new MPs were 'sworn in'. All our Pupil Parliament students then received a certificate to show their accomplishment. The students discussed what makes a good leader and how to speak well in front of an audience.
We were thrilled to have 'Special Advisors' attend the event, which were some of our wonderful sixth form students, who were there to help our new MPs throughout the day.
The students involved were a credit to their schools and we are so excited to see how they progress throughout the year!
