This week has been an inspiring one across our schools as we marked Anti-Bullying Week (10-14th November) and International Kindness Day (13th November). These two events go hand-in-hand, reminding us of the importance of compassion, respect, and responsibility - virtues we live by everyday in our Trust.

Our schools embraced the theme of kindness wholeheartedly. Pupils took part in activities such as creating cards for one another, visiting care homes, and performing random acts of kindness - small gestures that make a big difference in building a caring community.

For Anti-Bullying Week, children showed their support by wearing odd socks, a fun and powerful way to celebrate individuality and raise awareness. Many schools welcomed special guests, including local police officers, who spoke to pupils about recognising the signs of bullying and how to prevent it, both in person and online. In our secondary schools, students engaged in assemblies and interactive workshops, exploring the impact of bullying and learning strategies to stand up for themselves and others.

As a Trust, we take a zero-tolerance stance on bullying. We are proud to be part of a movement that promotes kindness and respect, helping our children grow into positive citizens who stand in solidarity to make the world a happier, safer place for everyone.
