Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust are delighted to see another one of their primary schools achieve a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. Staff and pupils at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool are celebrating the results of their recent Ofsted inspection, where they secured an overall ‘Good’ rating.
Ofsted stated that “Pupils are proud of their school” and praised the inclusive and respectful environment where everyone is valued. Ofsted recognised the school's Christian values are the foundation of its ethos, which create a nurturing atmosphere that supports both academic and personal development. The school's commitment to inclusivity is highlighted in the report, emphasising the dedication to providing every student with the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The report praised Sacred Heart for maintaining high expectations for pupil behaviour, resulting in well-mannered and courteous pupils both in the classroom and around the school. The positive and supportive atmosphere in school has contributed to pupils feeling happy, well-cared for, and proud to be part of the Sacred Heart community.
Sacred Heart are proud about the positive recognition from Ofsted and along with Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust are committed to continuing their journey towards excellence in education.
