Many of our Trust students represented their schools as they watched their school Lay Chaplain be re-commissioned by Bishop Stephen! It’s a joy to see our schools supporting and interacting with each other whilst supporting our dedicated Lay Chaplains that serve across our diocese. This annual re-commissioning serves as a powerful reminder of our connectedness as Catholic schools and as a Trust.
The Mass was celebrated in the historic St. Cuthbert’s Chapel at Ushaw College, where so many of our priests trained for the priesthood. Bishop Stephen spoke beautifully about living out our 'vocation of love' and supporting each other in small acts. Afterwards, our schools enjoyed a picnic in the beautiful Ushaw grounds. A wonderful day celebrating faith, community, and service.
