

Every day across Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust, we know there are extraordinary examples of people making a difference to the lives of others in schools, teams and the wider community. We want to celebrate the young people and adults in our Trust who are an inspiration to us all.
We are delighted to launch the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust Virtues Awards 2026 taking place on Thursday 22nd October 2026 and invite nominations from across our Trust community.
Awards will be presented to both a young person and an adult for each of our eight Trust virtues:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Self-Belief
- Compassion
- Honesty
- Resilience
- Confidence
- Justice
You can nominate any member of our Trust community to be an award winner, including pupils, staff, parents and carers, governors, directors or someone else linked to our Trust.
Perhaps you know someone who:
- Has shown resilience in the face of adversity
- Has stood up for others or spoken up for what is right
- Has given their time to help others
- Has raised money for a good cause
- Has shown kindness and compassion when someone needed support
- Has inspired others through their actions
- Has improved the lives of people around them
- Has made a positive difference to their school, team or local community
Everyone is eligible to make a nomination and you can make more than one nomination. Children can complete a nomination with the support of an adult.

We welcome nominations for any member of the Trust community: pupils, school staff, central team staff, governors, directors, parents and carers, or anyone else connected to our Trust.
For each virtue there will be a young person shortlist and an adult shortlist, and one young person and one adult winner per virtue.

Simply tell us who you want to nominate and why. As a thank you for taking the time to nominate, all nominations will go into a prize draw, with nominators and guests selected at random to attend the ceremony.
Shortlisted nominees and guests will be invited to the award ceremony on Thursday 22nd October 2026.
Deadline for nominations: 11pm on 22nd September 2026.
Shortlisted nominees will be notified by the end of September and invited to attend the ceremony.
Anyone can nominate. Children can do so with help from an adult.
